  • Overview

    Myriad Genetics is seeking a Marketing Specialist to join the Marketing Commercialization Team. With oversight from appropriate Product Manager(s) the Marketing Specialist will assist in implementation of all aspects of marketing programs and special projects for specified products and market segments. Additionally, the Marketing Specialist will help plan, monitor, and execute marketing tactics as well as oversee administrative aspects of educational, sales and promotional activities.

     

    Responsibilities

    Responsibilities:

    • Assists with and executes sales/marketing tool development and implementation.
    • Development and timing of tactical marketing plan.
    • Involvement with strategic plan formulation, monitoring, and adherence.
    • Becoming familiar with clinical aspects associated with the disease state of focus
    • Assists in generation and presentation of educational/informational material to Business Unit Field personnel and selected internal/external groups.
    • Monitors internal and external resource progress on tactical initiatives and ROI.
    • Gathering and evaluating market research.
    • Data analysis of market opportunity and trends
    • Collaboration with sales and medical field professionals to develop meeting cycle content and workshops
    • Management of vendors and purchase orders
    • Management of all tactics associated with medical conferences
    • Work with cross functional teams to complete brand projects and achieve brand goals
    • Update product specifications as appropriate within internal SOP’s, Myriad compliance and external regulatory agencies.
    • Review internal SOP’s and update documents and trainings as required.

    Qualifications

    Qualifications:

    The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree or higher with 2-3 years of experience within the diagnostic lab industry.  Experience with lab operations and regulatory compliance is helpful.   Attention to detail and proficiency with project management is critical to success in this role.
