    At Assurex as a Software Developer III, you will be a key member of a team designing and developing state of the art applications and services by utilizing a variety of technologies.  You will work both individually and as part of a team to create a seamless and easy to use experience for our customers while facilitating complex functionality within the applications.  You will be a part of a fast-paced, challenging, and exciting work environment. This person will report to the Software Development Manager.


    • Responsible for the technical aspects of one or more components of the GeneSight platform
    • Design, develop, and deploy all layers of applications and services
    • Provide maintenance, enhancements, and bug fixes to existing system functionality
    • Work with the development team to meet technical expectations and goals
    • Adherence to coding standards and development guidelines
    • Assist with the design and testing of the system
    • Contribute to routine product builds
    • Identify and recommend technologies that may be incorporated into the system
    • Adhere to and improve the software development lifecycle
    • Provide development support for operations
    • Additional projects as requested and assigned


    • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field
    • Four or more years of working experience in a related technical field
    • Strong understanding of the full life cycle of software development
    • Experience with C#, ASP.NET MVC, CSS, HTML, JavaScript libraries such as jQuery, NHibernate, Entity Framework, and IIS
    • Knowledge and application of software design and development principles, techniques, and procedures
    • Strong analysis, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
    • Accustomed to working with the Microsoft development environment, including Visual Studio and Team Foundation Server
    • Ability to work effectively with others in a collaborative team environment
    • Ability to manage work assignments to meet deadlines under an aggressive schedule
    • Ability to translate business and design goals into a usable product
    • Well organized and detail oriented
    • Flexibility to work overtime as needed to meet departmental goals
