Myriad Genetic Laboratories, Inc. is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented individual with medical billing & collection experience to fill the position of Reimbursement Specialist on the Patient Accounts / Myriad Promise Team. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting outstanding balances from patients and resolving billing concerns.  This role requires exceptional customer service phone skills, and a desire to help navigate patients through the complex insurance reimbursement process.  Experience with medical billing and a phone-based support environment is highly preferred.


Collecting on outstanding balances from patients to ensure timely payment.  Setting up payment plans, processing adjustments, reconciling credit balance accounts.  Offering hardship adjustments to patients who qualify. 


  • Must have a minimum of 2 years experience working in medical billing/collections or in a patient support role.
  • Strong customer service and verbal communication skills are a must.
  • Knowledge of medical coding is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, multitasking and teamwork skills.
