Myriad Genetics Laboratories is looking for a full-time candidate to work as a Triage Representative in our customer service department. Triage Representatives are responsible for reviewing paperwork received with a patient sample and reviewing for accuracy. The Triage Representative will make decisions to evaluate insurance coverage, and interpret insurance criteria. To be successful, the Triage Representative must be detail oriented, be able to work independently and must act in compliance with agency, department, and company regulations, policies and procedures.
Patient Services Coordinators/Triage are responsible for coordinating genetic testing services for patients. Triage reviews all paperwork submitted with patient samples to ensure all required information for testing is received. They enter the patient’s insurance information into the database application and determine if the patient’s insurance requires additional documentation/processing for testing to be covered. Must be very detail oriented. Must act in compliance with agency, department, and company regulations, policies and procedures.
