Overview

Crescendo seeks an experienced Senior Product Manager/Associate Director to help further drive the adoption of Crescendo’s blood test for rheumatoid arthritis, Vectra DA. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing upon strategic and tactical marketing plans targeting rheumatology healthcare providers (HCPs) by developing HCP marketing materials and collateral, marketing communication programs, peer-to-peer and educational programs, and collaborating on Speaker Bureau management with the National Rheumatology Science Liaison (NRSL) team. Coordination and close collaboration with various departments including Sales, NRSLs, Medical Affairs, and Marketing are essential in this role. The Senior Product Manager/Associate Director will report directly to the Director, Product Marketing. This position requires up to 15% travel annually. 

 

This position can be located in San Francisco, CA or in Salt Lake City, UT

 

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Messaging/Branding and Marketing Materials Development
    • Become a Subject Matter Expert on scientific data
    • Work with Medical Affairs, NRSL Director and National Sales Director to develop and update messaging following release of new scientific data
    • Implement new messaging into Sales Materials and Advertising Campaigns
  • Speaker’s Bureau Management and Speaker Development:
    • Manage the development and engagement of Vectra DA speakers in collaboration with the MSL team
    • Plan and coordinate ongoing training opportunities for speakers, such as webinars, case study forums, in-person meetings
    • Coordinate updates to speaker deck content
    • Attend Speaker Programs periodically to understand potential areas for improvement
    • Ensure coordination of efforts among marketing, NRSLs, and sales
  • Advisory Board Meetings
    • Manage Regional Advisory Board Meetings, including objectives and program content development
  • Webinars/Educational Programs
    • Develop a plan for regular webinars and/or other educational programming consisting of data reviews and case studies for rheumatology HCPs
    • Determine appropriate topic for the webinar with National Sales Director, Marketing, and NRSL Director
    • Develop Marketing Materials to Recruit Program Attendees
  • Marketing Communications
    • Develop and implement a plan for routine email communication to HCPs
    • Develop content for email communication

Qualifications

Job Skills & Experience:

 

  • BA/BS required; MBA a plus
  • Rheumatology and/or molecular diagnostics experience preferred
  • 5+ years’ experience marketing medical products including
  • Market research and planning
    • Branding, positioning, and messaging
    • Medical education
    • Digital marketing
  • Experience marketing or selling to physicians a strong plus
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Strong analytical skills
  • High initiative and self-starter attitude
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent teamwork skills
  • Willingness to become a subject matter expert on complex scientific data
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams
  • Adaptable and flexible to a growing company
