Overview

The Manager of Strategic Accounts will lead a team comprised of Strategic Account Managers (SAMs) that represent Crescendo Bioscience in promoting Practice Integration (PI) and diagnostics to both academic and community-based rheumatologists, as well as practice administrators and key staff members in targeted accounts.  Reporting to the National Sales Director, the Manager of Strategic Accounts will lead the implementation of the strategic plan, as well as the dynamic SAM team, with the goal to increase both revenue and volume of Crescendo products.

Responsibilities

A successful management candidate is expected to:

 

 

  • Achieve quarterly and annual sales goals and revenue assigned to the program with an understanding of market conditions and sales opportunities
  • Maintain, coach and expand a SAM team
    • Coach SAMs in regards to enhanced selling skills related to Practice Integration, business opportunities and effective resource utilization
    • Recruit, retain and motivate SAMs
    • Play an active role in personal development, success, and performance of SAMs within their defined geography
    • Clear knowledge of company products and Practice Integration
  • Build and leverage strong relationships with key Practice Integration opinion leaders and other key personnel (practice administrators)
  • Collaborate with Regional Sales Managers, Clinical Rheumatology Liaisons, Regional Practice Integration Experts, and National Sales Director to target, plan and drive test utilization within large health care practices or facilities at the clinical and operations level, to achieve improved patient outcomes (25% of time is spent with targeted accounts)
  • Utilize Quality Improvement and Quality Assurance expertise that includes analysis and solutions to make efficient, objective disease assessment standard of care with healthcare providers. Including but not limited to LEAN methodology.  Coach SAMs to drive consistent, reliable and dependable processes to support physician behavior and improve patient care of RA patients
  • Provide data analysis and collection of metrics to track KPIs of Practice Integration account
  • Communicate and collect best practices and methods to build training program for SAM team and share with sales team
  • Administrative Responsibilities:  Manage expenses and ensure adherence to and timely application of all company policies including travel and expense; business and strategic planning

Qualifications

  • S. degree required, MBA preferred along with Six Sigma or Lean Healthcare Certifications; previous experience as a Strategic Account Manager will be considered
  • Proven track record of success in sales and demonstrated examples of leadership or management
    • Coaching, developing, and motivating experienced sales professionals
    • Personal development and performance management
    • Budget management
  • Strong strategic skills and an extensive knowledge of healthcare delivery systems
  • Problem solving skills with innovative solutions
  • Ability to collaborate on projects with other team members
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills are required
  • Must be able to travel 70% of the time
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
