A Business Intelligence Engineer partners with business leaders and end-users to understand information needs and provide access to data to guide strategic business decisions. Interacts with all components of the data warehouse, including: architecting logical data relationships, creating data models, reporting, dashboards, and administering reporting tools and architecting logical data layers. Develops overall architecture and high level design, utilizing expertise with star schemas, dimensional models, and data marts. Performs coding and interacts professionally with a diverse team comprised of both technical and business personnel. Accurately communicates status and issues within the data warehouse environment (verbal and written). Prepares documentation, devises testing strategies and analyzes existing systems to present the data in effective ways to business users.
